"Venus Meets the Son of Hercules" (1962) is another of the 14 peplum (sword and sandal) films included in the syndicated television package, the "Sons of Hercules" assembled by Embassy Pictures. Originally titled, Marte, dio della guerra, it is also known as "Mars, God of War" and "The Son of Hercules vs. Venus." It starred Roger Browne and was directed by Marcello Baldi. The terrific musical score is by Gino Marinuzzi Jr., though the sound quality on this copy varies.
