In the fifth and final season, Kanan Stark fully embraces his ruthlessness, breaking free from his mother's shadow and cementing his place as a rising force in the Southside drug game. He teams up with the infamous Southside legend, Branford "Breeze" Frady, forming an alliance that shifts the balance of power and forces a massive reckoning for everyone involved. As war breaks out, the reign of the Thomas family faces total collapse, leading to tragic losses. In the final episodes, Kanan steps up to protect Raq from dangerous mafia figures like Stephano Pino, leading to a climactic showdown, lingering family vengeance, and setting the stage directly into the wider Power chronology.
