Boy Wonder

20101h 32m6.3(148)240p

A young Brooklyn boy witnesses the brutal murder of his mother and grows up obsessed with finding her killer. Thus begins his life as a quiet, straight-A student by day and a self-appointed hero at night. But what is a real hero? And who decides what is right or wrong? As the boundaries blur, Sean's dual life wears on his psyche and his two worlds careen dangerously close to colliding. Like a graphic novel you can't put down, Boy Wonder challenges morality, distorting perceptions of what is right and what is justified, as it races to its shocking conclusion.

[2] Information / history of the movie Wonder Boy (2010) is unofficial CGI animation movie adaptation of the Wonder Boy video game series (namely, takes elements from "Wonder Boy 3: The Dragon's Trap", "Wonder Boy In Monster World" and comic series called "Wonder Boy In Demon World").[3] Movie was originally slated to be a official live-action movie by Uwe Boll and was the main news story in Retro Gamer Magazine issue 51.[4][5] After a long drawn out fight with Sega refusing to ressurrect the character (even though Sega only owns the trademark, not the copyright[6]), Uwe Boll walked away. So the project became an unauthorised CGI project led by original project's screenwriter Robin Morningstar.[7] The movie was most likely made with software called "Moviestorm", because Lucinda McNary (director) was known for making machinimas with this particicular software.[8][9] There's some speculation that CGI was made in Second Life, but this likely is false. Movie was considered as lost media but in 2017, it was mysteriously found as unlisted YouTube video from description of the movie review video.[10] Film became lost media again when in 2021, Google privatised all the unlisted YouTube videos uploaded before 2017 unless you opt-out. YouTube video is back in unlisted state since 2022.[11] There has been a DVD at some point in 2011, but it's no longer available to purchase.[12] Footnotes [1]: Runtime in the Amazon store page [archive.today] is incorrectly as 1 hour and 15 minutes (or this copy of the movie is different cut).
