Thinner
An obese lawyer finds himself growing "Thinner" when an old Romani man places a hex on him. Now the lawyer must call upon his friends in organized crime to help him persuade the old man to lift the curse. Time is running out for the desperate lawyer as he draws closer to his own death, and grows ever thinner.

Thinner is a 1996 American body horror film directed by Tom Holland and written by Michael McDowell and Holland. The film is based on Stephen King's 1984 novel of the same name The story follows an obese lawyer named Billy Halleck accidentally kills a Romani woman and, after escaping legal consequences, is cursed by her father to lose weight uncontrollably. As he rapidly shrinks, he desperately seeks a way to lift the curse, leading to tragic and darkly comedic events.
