An old lighthouse keeper who lives with his daughter secretly keeps a prehistoric fish-man by feeding it scraps and fish. One day he misses the feeding and all hell breaks loose.

The Monster of Piedras Blancas is a 1959 American horror film directed by Irvin Berwick. The story is set in a small California town where a lighthouse keeper, Sturges, is worried about his daughter and the safety of the community. He believes a sea monster, which he has been feeding, is responsible for a series of gruesome murders. As bodies begin to wash ashore, a local scientist identifies a scale from the creature, leading to a confrontation with the monster.
