The Wicker Man
Police sergeant Neil Howie is called to an island village in search of a missing girl whom the locals claim never existed. The investigation is further complicated as Howie’s religious views clash with those of the island’s residents.

The Wicker Man is a 1973 British folk horror film directed by Robin Hardy and starring Edward Woodward, Britt Ekland, Diane Cilento, Ingrid Pitt and Christopher Lee. It follows Police Sergeant Neil Howie as he investigates the disappearance of a young girl named Rowan Morrison on the isolated Scottish island of Summerisle.As he delves deeper, he discovers that the islanders practice a form of Celtic paganism and that he himself is intended to be a human sacrifice to ensure a bountiful harvest.
