American-dubbed, re-edited version of the 1956 Soviet fantasy film Ilya Muromets. Produced by Roger Corman, it's shorter by 10 minutes, the names of crew members and characters are changed.

Ilya Muromets, also known as The Sword and the Dragon and The Epic Hero and the Beast, is a 1956 Soviet fantasy film by noted fantasy director Aleksandr Ptushko and produced at Mosfilm.It follows the story of Ilya Muromets, a legendary knight who, after being cured of his paralysis by pilgrims, embarks on a quest to save his fiancée, Vassilisa, from the invading Tugars. Along the way, he battles various foes, including the Wind Demon and the dragon Zmey Gorynych, ultimately leading his people to victory against the Tugars while confronting personal challenges, including his relationship with his son.
