"The Scarlet Claw" is a 1944 mystery film featuring the iconic detective duo Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson, portrayed by Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce, respectively. This film is part of a series produced in the 1940s that starred Rathbone as Holmes.The film begins with a series of mysterious murders in a quiet village in Canada, where a local woman claims to have seen a ghostly figure with a scarlet claw. Holmes and Watson arrive to investigate the supernatural occurrences, but they soon discover that the truth is far more sinister than mere ghost stories.
