The Hound of the Baskervilles (1939) is a gothic mystery film featuring Sherlock Holmes, played by Basil Rathbone, and Dr. Watson, portrayed by Nigel Bruce. The story revolves around a legendary demonic hound that is said to haunt the Baskerville family, leading Holmes and Watson to investigate the mysterious circumstances surrounding the heir, Sir Henry Baskerville.
