The Haunted Palace is a 1963 Gothic fantasy horror film released by American International Pictures, starring Vincent Price, Lon Chaney Jr. and Debra Paget, in a story about a village held in the grip of a dead necromancer. It follows Charles Dexter Ward and his wife Anne as they inherit a mansion in the cursed town of Arkham, where Charles discovers he is the descendant of a warlock named Joseph Curwen. As he becomes increasingly obsessed with Curwen's portrait, dark forces awaken, leading to horrific events as the townspeople confront the evil that has returned.
