The Black Castle is a 1952 horror film set in a mythical European locale during the 18th century. The story follows Lord Edward, portrayed by Richard Greene, who embarks on a journey to rescue his abducted love, a lady named Margaret. Lord Edward's quest is motivated by his love for Margaret, who has been captured by the malevolent Count von Bruno, a sadistic nobleman. The narrative unfolds around the eerie and foreboding Black Castle, where the Count conducts mysterious and sinister rituals involving tortured souls.
