Soon after checking into his usual suite at a luxury hotel in West Berlin, Simon answers a phone call not meant for him. His curiosity piqued, he investigates and finds a dead man in another room.

The Saint (telefilm series) refers to six 100-minute TV films made in 1989 by Taffner Ramsay-Templar Productions in Australia for London Weekend Television (LWT) in the United Kingdom and broadcast as part of the syndicated series Mystery Wheel of Adventure in the United States. The films all starred Simon Dutton as British author Leslie Charteris' fictional character Simon Templar, better known as The Saint.
