The Last Man on Earth is a 1964 post-apocalyptic science fiction horror film based on the 1954 novel I Am Legend by Richard Matheson.It follows Dr. Robert Morgan as the sole survivor of a plague that has turned humanity into vampiric creatures. He spends his days hunting these undead beings while grappling with loneliness and the memories of his deceased wife and daughter, ultimately facing a tragic confrontation with a group of infected survivors.
