Road Runner segments on the Electric Company
In The Electric Company, Chuck Jones produced and directed Road Runner skits based upon the cartoon from the classic Looney Tunes series of shorts. These skits debuted in Season 3 and were used till season 6. The skits had the Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote encountering traffic signs and traffic lights with different words on them for children to read. The skits were different than the regular Looney Tunes cartoons in that the Coyote suffered no physical violence.
