Minder (1991) SE8 - EP6 The Last Temptation of Daley [10th Oct 1991] Arthur’s doctor wants him to give up alcohol and Tabacco if he wants to avoid a stomach ulcer, but this causes Arthur even more stress and he begins to believe that everyone’s after him. The feeling is reinforced when buliding contractor Benny McLeish threatens him over a paint deal that goes sour. Arthur becomes so paranoid that he demands police protection. (The episode title spoofs the 1988 film ‘The Last Temptation of Christ’.) George Cole as Arthur Daley, Gary Webster as Ray Daley, Glynn Edwards as Dave Harris. Guest stars:Andrew McCulloch as Benny McLeish, Terrence Hardiman as Dr. Hardman, Roger Brierley as Donald, Arthur Whybrow as Landlord.
