Minder (1984) SE4 - EP4 High Drains Pilferer [25th Jan 1984] Whilst Terry is driving for gangster-turned-businessman Micky ‘The Fish’ Metcalfe, Micky’s girlfriend’s flat is burgled and expensive jewellery is stolen. Micky is furious, and DS Chisholm initially suspects Terry’s involvement. However, Terry thinks he knows who the culprit is – his former callmate and cat burglar, Eddie. Despite Terry’s assistance, Eddie is arrested. (The episode title spoofs the 1973 film ‘High Plains Drifter’.) George Cole as Arthur Daley, Dennis Waterman as Terry McCann, Glynn Edwards as Dave Harris. Guest stars: David Calder as Micky the Fish, Sheila Ruskin as Sisie Blake, Chris Matthews as Eddie Venables, Paul Brooke as Hamster.
