Minder (1980) SE2 - EP6 The Beer Hunter [23rd Oct 1980] Arthur has a drunken reunion with his former army mate Yorkie, but in the morning Yorkie can’t be found at his hotel. In fact, he’s ended up with a part-time prostitute, but he can’t remember where or what his hotel is. With Yorkie’s wife on her way to London from Yorshire, Arthur and Terry must fine Yorkie. The Trail takes them via a phantom night porter, a school rugby match (in which Arthur scores a try!) and a one-armed taxi driver, to Yorkie – just in time. (The episode title spoofs the 1978 film ‘The Deer Hunter’.) George Cole as Arthur Daley, Dennis Waterman as Terry McCann, Glynn Edwards as Dave Harris. Guest stars: Brian Glover as Yorkie, Georgina Hale as Renee, Janine Duvitski as Carol, Gennie Nevinson as Penny.
