Minder (1979) SE1 - EP6 Aces High – and Sometimes Very Low [3rd Dec 1979] After being banned by several casinos for being too successful, Maurice Michaelson, a professional gambler, participates in an illegal high-stakes card game, with Terry minding him. The game is rigged, but Maurice manages to win anyway – with a spot of cheating. (the episode title spoofs the 1976 film ‘Aces High’. George Cole as Arthur Daley, Dennis Waterman as Terry McCann, Glynn Edwards as Dave Harris Guest stars: Anthony Valentine as Maurice, Marina Sirtis as Stella, Kevork Malikyan as Chris, Marc Zuber as Nick, David Baron as Casino Manager.
