Maid Marian and Her Merry Men Series
British children's comedy-historical-musical retelling of the Robin Hood legends created and written by Tony Robinson, in which Maid Marian (Kate Lonergan) is the real leader, with the vain, dim-witted ex-tailor Robin of Kensington (Wayne Morris) being the public face of the outlaws by accident. The other Merry Men are Danny John-Jules as the Rastafarian Barrington, Mike Edmonds as Little Ron, and Howard Lew Lewis as Rabies. It also stars Forbes Collins as King John, Tony Robinson as the Sheriff of Nottingham, Mark Billingham and David Lloyd as the guards Gary and Graeme, Ramsay Gilderdale as Guy of Gisbourne, and Siobhan Fogarty as "Rotten" Rose Scargill. Each episode features at least one original song, and is known for its anarchic and frequently anachronistic sense of humour.
