Opening to Magnum P.I. Death And Taxes 1986 In the exciting chilling Episode of the 7th Season of MAGNUM P.I., titled DEATH AND TAXES, Magnum finds himself alone at the Estate in Hawaii after Jonathan, "TC" and "Rick" take a vacation. He is also faced with the dreaded task of filing his annual Income Tax Audit for the year that doesn't make him feel any better aside from his solitude. One morning Magnum receives a strange phone call from an unknown man which he believes is a prankster claiming he has killed a prostitute and identifies his supposed victim as "number 1". Not too long after the Police find a transient's body in a dumpster where the killer claims he left her for dead, Magnum takes the mysterious phone caller seriously and is apprehensive about receiving another call before contacting his Police buddy Lieutenant Nolan where leads to the would-be serial killer run cold and begins pursuing his own investigation down a dark path reminiscing about old, related cases. Private-Eye Investigator Thomas Magnum (Tom Selleck) desperately searches for clues to prevent another prostitute from falling into the hands of a psychopathic deadly relentless serial killer (Kenneth Tigar) who gives Magnum encrypted riddles and nursery rhymes to his next victim. Although most of the episodes from the Emmy-Award Winning Television Series "Magnum P.I." touched the heart in some way for the character Thomas Magnum such as critically acclaimed Top Rated episodes like the TV Pilot, "Did You See The Sunrise?" and "Laura" and many episodes involving his Vietnam war friends "TC", "Rick" and Jonathan, this highly rated episode even in reruns on CBS and syndicated television stations of MPI was the very first to feature a "Jack The Ripper" story with an ominous terrifying twist resembling that of a sub-genre type of slasher villain.
