Lu Ryden interviews comedian Jerry Van Dyke on a segment from Ryden's show on San Jose's KNTV Channel 11. Includes outtakes. The clip opens with a night shot of the Bimbo's 365 night club neon sign in San Francisco, where Van Dyke is performing, with Kaye Hart also on the bill. Van Dyke is seen performing on stage, in silent footage, followed by Ryden's interview in Van Dyke's dressing room. They discuss opening night jitters, the role of critics, how often he changes up his routine, dealing with hecklers, and astrology. The second reel contains outtakes on the same subjects.
