Emperor of the North Pole is a 1973 American action adventure film directed by Robert Aldrich, starring Lee Marvin, Ernest Borgnine, Keith Carradine, and Charles Tyner. The film set during the Great Depression, focusing on A-No. 1, a legendary hobo who challenges Shack, a brutal railroad conductor, to ride his train for free. The story follows A-No. 1 and a brash young hobo named Cigaret as they navigate dangerous encounters with Shack, leading to a violent showdown.
