Little Devil May Care
Ludivine, a lttle tomboy, takes on the too polite Delphin. Being caught, and punished, she wants him and his father to be dead. When the latter dies, she feels guilty and takes Delphin under her wing.
From the archive
I've been researching newly public domain films from 1929 and earlier, so I'm uploading the best possible copies that I can find. A post Napoleonic-France set musical whose claim to fame was the sound debut of heartthrob Ramon Novarro, Devil-May-Care also had a technicolor dance sequence and was a box office hit. Reviews were fine, though it was important to prove that Novarro could lead a talkie picture.
