Schoonhoven is a town in the Dutch province of Zuid Holland which is famous for its silver smiths since the 14th century. Already in 1247 a town called "Sconhauen" was mentioned in old documents. This film shows the picturesq old town and one of its silverware factories. One of its points off interest nowadays is the "Dutch Silver Museum Schoonhoven".
