Scheveningen is a town on the North Sea. It lies to the West of the residence of the Netherlands, The Hague. Scheveningen is famous for its sandy beaches, the Kuhrhaus and its long Pier. In this film a dance group consisting of only girls performs (or rehearses) a vivid dance. Notice the old style mobile bathing cabins in the background meant for the more wealthy beach visitor to change in and out of theit bathing costume. Above it is the Scheveningen Boulevard. The exact date of the film is unknown and therefore estimated around 1925. The original film has been motion-stabilized, speed corrected, enhanced and artificially colorized by means of state-of-the-art A.I. video software. Bron Z/W flm: Beeld en Geluid
