This teen information series is designed to combine humor and advice in a lively half-hour format that encourages positive life choices. Teens talk to their peers and show each other ways to reach their own goals, cope with problems, and celebrate healthy life styles. A 40-member panel of professional advisors in the fields of health and education helps guide messages about growing up in the 90s. Hosted by a multi-cultural ensemble featuring Jimmy Rhoades, Natalie Cosby, Vidya Shaker, Tara Sendelbach, Odell Nails, and Jerry Millen, CLUB CONNECT serves as a showcase for teen interests and issues. CLUB CONNECT has received national support from such organizations as the American Federation of Teachers; the Association for Educational Communications and Technology; Big Brothers/Big Sisters of America; The National Association of School Psychologists; and the National Association of State Boards of Education.
