Attack!" is a 1956 war film set during World War II, focusing on a U.S. front-line combat infantry unit led by the cowardly Captain Erskine Cooney. The story follows the tensions between Cooney and his more competent subordinate, Lieutenant Joe Costa, as they face the brutal realities of combat and the consequences of leadership failures during the Battle of the Bulge.
