Recapping some of the events in recent episodes, Gloria was taken to a ski lodge with Alec, but tells him to get out of her life due to threats by Adam. Also, Maria was uneasy when she noticed how close Edmund and Brooke are as they attended Derek and Mimi's wedding. Then, a devastated Maria calls off Edmund's engagement to her, but Edmund refuses to believe. Soon afterward, Brooke went to the Dominican Republic to obtain a quick divorce to allow for Tad and Dixie to marry. Finally, at Erica's trial, she tells Dimitri that she regrets hurting him, but he soon testifies for the defense that Kendall tried to seduce him.
