Your Hit Parade
An episode of the NBC pop music series. Performers include: Polly Bergen, Gisele MacKenzie, Russell Arms, and Snooky Lanson. Dorothy Collins does not appear "live" in this episode, although she does appear in a pre-filmed commercial. Songs include: "I Feel a Song Coming On", "Little Things Mean a Lot", "The High and the Mighty", "Sh-Boom" (this is exactly the kind of thing which killed this show), "Hernando's Hideaway", "The Little Shoe Maker", "In the Chapel in the Moonlight", "It's a Grand Night for Singing", and "Hey There". Contains original commercials for Lucky Strike cigarettes, and Richard Hudnut Quick home permanent (the latter featuring Julia Meade). Network IDs are also intact. Sadly, my copy has poor picture and sound quality. Note: I had originally uploaded this to my YouTube account. That account is now gone, hence I uploaded it here.
