“North South divide” (IMBD review quote). A Lancashire cotton mill owner retires to southern England setting off an unfortunate series of events in this dialect comedy from the so-called Manchester School of film-making. Good cast and adequate production values for this low-budget quickie. Recommended. IMDB rating 6.2. Directed by Maclean Rogers. Released in 1935 (UK only). Approximately four minutes are missing (PAL transfer)
