Britt Reid and his faithful valet, Kato, are soaking up the sun, surf and sand in Hawaii, when they learn of a new crime syndicate that’s sunk its tentacles into nearly every industry in town. Returning to the US (Hawaii was just a territory then), the intrepid duo leap into action – the high-powered Black Beauty screams through the darkened streets as the Green Hornet and Kato bring the forces of justice to bear on master criminal Boss Crogan (Pierre Watkin) and his dirty rackets. A plane crash, a laboratory explosion, a roof cave-in, electrocution, even barreling a car through a warehouse packed to the rafters with explosives…yes, it’s “just another day at the office” for our fearless heroes, as they risk their lives in one cliffhanger after another. This 15-chapter serial stars Warren Hull (The Spider, Mandrake the Magician) as Reid/Hornet; Keye Luke, Wade Boteler and Anne Nagel reprise their respective roles as the ever-resourceful Kato, ace reporter Mike Axford, and secretary Lenore “Casey” Case.
