''The Dinah Shore Chevy Show''
A live variety show hosted by singer Dinah Shore, along with her guests Ann Miller, Michigan State University Glee Club, Fred MacMurray, and a group called Dixie Small Fry. Contains the original commercials. Unfortunately, this transfer for some reason is off-centre, with part of the left-side image cut-off. It is not faulty camera work. Please note this problem if you upload clips of it to YouTube. This NBC telecast was originally in colour, but this copy is in black-and-white (No colour video-tapes survive from 1957, and 1950s colour kinescopes are nearly extinct, so I doubt the colour version still exists).
Why this is free to watch
''The Dinah Shore Chevy Show'' (1957) is hosted by the Internet Archive as a public-domain or openly licensed work, which means its copyright has expired, lapsed, or was released by the rights holder. No signup, no payment and no advertising interrupts playback. Nitrate streams the file directly from the Internet Archive and hosts no video itself.
