An entertaining Universal Pictures whodunit with an unusually large cast of familiar faces for a B-mystery, and enough twists and turns to hold your interest. Pre-code. Remade in 1946 as “Blonde Alibi.” IMDB 6.3. Directed by Edwin L Marin. Released in 1934. Two minutes are missing (VHS transfer) CAST NOTE: Sixteen of the twenty-six cast members are uncredited. Among the uncredited are Leon Ames, Mischa Auer, Walter Brennan and Harold Huber.
