From the archive
“Screamingly funny!” “Don’t miss it” (IMDB reviews quotes). Tom Walls starrs in this risque comedy of British upper-middle-class morals. Yvonne Arnaud is a large part of the naughty fun. Based on an Aldwych Theater farce written and adapted for the screen by Ben Travers. This is another one that wouldn’t have gotten past the US censors. IMDB rating 6.2. (Not to be confused with the 1943 American musical "Stormy Weather," starring Lena Horne and Bill Robinson.) Directed by Tom Walls. Released in 1935 (UK only). The last 20 seconds are missing including the closing credits.
