https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speakers%27_Corner_(TV_series) Speakers' Corner was a television series that aired on Citytv in Toronto. Torontonians could come into a video booth outside the Citytv offices, and film short videos of themselves. The show would have many themes for the videos to be about. This video is taken directly from this YouTube video, with no modifications, for archival purposes. The video information and quality is low, but it appears to be some of the only video footage of the show from the 1990s available on the Internet. What differentiates this video from the others that I've uploaded is that it is a full half-hour episode, allowing the program to be seen in its entirety. My regrets about this upload are the low video quality and the retroontario.com watermark. It is also unfortunate that the full original airing date is not known, only the year and month. It is hard to know if that is accurate either, but it's all I have from YouTube.
Why this is free to watch
Speakers Corner (1972) is hosted by the Internet Archive as a public-domain or openly licensed work, which means its copyright has expired, lapsed, or was released by the rights holder. No signup, no payment and no advertising interrupts playback. Nitrate streams the file directly from the Archive and hosts no video itself.
