https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speakers%27_Corner_(TV_series) Speakers' Corner was a television series that aired on Citytv in Toronto. Torontonians could come into a video booth outside the Citytv offices, and film short videos of themselves. The show would have many themes for the videos to be about. This video file is a cut taken from two videos:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zJ0jnIh5iRshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M4UWl0TwJsoThe video information and quality is low, but it appears to be some of the only video footage of the show from the 1990s available on the Internet. The (possibly) full episode is taken from the two videos above, as the episode is split across those links. The episode that begins in the second half of the second link will be cut and uploaded in a later file. My regrets about this upload are its low video quality, the www.Bandicam.com watermark, and the visible screen recording elements at times. It is also unfortunate that the original airing date is not known, only the year. It is hard to know if the year is accurate either, but it's all I have from YouTube. The cut I repaired may unfortunately be leaving some video selections out, it is hard to know without the original footage. Another strange thing about this video is that it appears like a full episode, but full episodes of the show are supposed to be 30 minutes. There are videos older than this one that are the full length, so I am unsure why this one isn't. Either there are a large number of clips missing from the middle, or it was a different episode than usual, they changed the format or something. The following text was at the bottom of these videos when posted on YouTube, along with some explanation of the show or parts like I have done above: "The posting of this video is designed to facilitate criticism, commentary, scholarship, and research relating to the television broadcasting industry, and for purposes of historic preservation, consistent with the provisions set forth in Section 107 of Title 17, United States Code. Why this is free to watch
Speakers Corner (1972) is hosted by the Internet Archive as a public-domain or openly licensed work, which means its copyright has expired, lapsed, or was released by the rights holder. No signup, no payment and no advertising interrupts playback. Nitrate streams the file directly from the Archive and hosts no video itself.
