The film is included in our program to illustrate the contributions of Helen Holmes, a star of Silent Hall of Fame. This is the earliest surviving film with Helen Holmes and her only second screen appearance. She has a small part as a wedding guest and in this role we can see the humble beginnings of her distinguished career. Helen Holmes became the audacious star of "The Hazards of Helen" a year and a half later, acting as the heroine of numerous railroad adventures.
