Molly Moo-Cow and the Indians

19358m5.1(7)240p

A Conestoga Wagon leads Molly Moo-Cow and some ducks through the hills. The ducks stop for a swim by a tepee and go to explore the settlement. Molly misses her friends and goes to look for them; when she finds them she discovers they're behaving like Native Americans, and she joins in. Meanwhile, a Native woman downstream loses her baby in the stream and chases after her. Seeing the baby's in trouble, Molly pursues it as well, and eventually retrieves it.

From the archive

Molly Moo-Cow was an animated character appearing in eight Rainbow Parade shorts produced by the Van Beuren Studios 1935-1937. Many 1930s cartoons joke with ethnicity. In this cartoon cooperation is needed to handle pluralism. Plot taken from IMDb: Molly Moo-Cow searches for a lost group of ducks, but instead finds herself rescuing an Indian baby who has fallen into and is floating down the river. The baby's mother returns the favor, helping Molly rescue the missing ducks from becoming her husband's dinner. Downloaded from Public Domain Movie Torrents
