Marilyn Monroe deleted scenes from The Seven Year Itch
"The Seven Year Itch" was a racy Broadway play adapted to film by Billy Wilder in 1955. Much of the play's risque content was removed or toned down for the film. Here are two lost scenes. Dialog was rewritten for the famous subway grate sequence. Censorship also led to a surprisingly mild bathtub scene being cut. Nevertheless, the film was a huge box office smash and made an A-list star out of Marilyn Monroe.
