A upgraded picture quality version. This is a daytime soap opera.. I might be mistaken on the date: my source for the episode, a DVD-R, gives the date as 4 March 1953, while the user-edited IMDb says it aired the following day. This episode aired live, though the opening and closing commercials were filmed (the middle commercial is live). The show pre-dated video-tape and was recorded as a kinescope. This 15-minute episode aired from 12:45PM to 1:00PM on CBS and is complete with the original commercials. Trivia: In New York City, this episode aired against disc jockey show "Take the Break" on WABD, "Feminine Touch" on WPIX, "The Herb Sheldon Show" on WNBT (though if it aired on the 5th, it aired against a "color test"), and a thing called "Mid-day Playhouse" on WABC-TV (which seems to have consisted of cheap feature films), which would you have watched? Obviously the feature films still exist but the other programs may be lost.
