''Four Star Playhouse''
An episode of the popular 1950s anthology TV series. Frank Lovejoy stars in this episode, which is said to be based on the radio series "Night Beat". Very well-directed episode. Other cast members included Frances Rafferty, James Millican, and Rhys Williams. In this episode, a newspaper reporter is interested to know why a woman wants her purse to be retrieved from a river. A shame they didn't make this episode into a TV series. Originally aired 5 November 1953 on CBS.
