Felix the Cat in Sure Locked Homes
Felix has numerous adventures with things that go bump in the night. This 1928 short was acquired by Educational Film Exchange which added primitive sound for the home movie and TV release in the 1950s. This copy has public domain music and sound effects. The music includes "Ghost Dance," an unusual guitar duet by Truett and George from 1927. There is a terrific version of this short available on the "Cartoon Roots" blu-ray from Tom Stathes' Cartoons on Film with original color-tinting and a new soundtrack by Charlie Judkins.
