A starving actor, reduced to trying his luck in the movies, travels to Hollywood. His cat, Felix, poses as a travel bag and comes along.

Felix in Hollywood is a silent, black and white cartoon from 1923, animated by Otto Messmer, produced by Pat Sullivan, and distributed by early Disney distributor, Margaret J. Winkler. (The lady had taste!) It's somwhat famous for its depiction of silent film personalities of the day such as Douglas Fairbanks, Willian S. Hart, Gloria Swanson, C.B. De Mille and others. This copy uses the music added to many public domain releases plus a few sound effects.
