Colorado
Trouble in Colorado is tying up Union troops needed back east during the Civil War and Lieut. Burke is sent to investigate. Macklin and his gang are causing the problems and Capt. Mason joins them. When Burke catches up with them he also finds Mason, his brother.

U. S. Army Intelligence Service Lieutenant Jerry Burke (Roy Rogers) is sent to Denver to investigate Indian uprisings and internal trouble which threaten the success of the Union cause. He is accompanied by his sidekick Gabby Whittaker (George Hayes). On the westward-bound stagecoach, they meet Lylah Stanford (Pauline Moore) and Etta Mae (Maude Eburne). Lylah is on her way to Denver to be married.
