Bill Sprague Collection This is a Bootleg Felix The Cat cartoon
This Item came from very low budget home movie distributor Atlas Films which handled only one reel and 50 foot headline editions, To the best of my knowledge ALL of Atlas Films offerings were silent. I have never seen of or heard of an Atlas Film that had a soundtrack. To the best of my knowledge Atlas films issued only two silent two reelers one was a truncated bootleg version of Laurel and Hardy in "Criminals At Large ( obviously copied from the old Film Classic Exchange Print) which was a shortened version of "Liberty (1929) and " Love Crazy" which is a truncated (some footage missing ) of Charley Chase 's "Crazy Like A Fox" No one really knew exactly where Atlas Films was getting their preprint or source material.Their other offering of note was a super rare Charlie Chaplin Cartoon. In This film thy obviously tried to fool people into thinking "Kitty Kat" was actually Felix the Cat. Another worthwhile addition to The Bill Sprague Collection. The Bill Sprague Collection tolerates NO negative feedback regarding ANY film that is posted by them. The Bill Sprague Collection feels that the general public is LUCKY to be viewing these films in ANY condition. The Bill Sprague Collection also has posted "Love Crazy" The Atlas Films version of Charley Chase's "Crazy Like A Fox , as well as the uncut version of "Crazy Like A Fox. Enough talk for now, And as Buster Keaton would say "lets watch a movie. Without further ado, here is "Kitty Kat aka Felix The Cat in "Free Lunch"
