An uncredited Anthony Asquith is one of the directors of this WWII film (a joint UK/US production) which aims to explain British culture and character to the newly arrived American soldier. Starting with the ubiquitous pub visit, the film breezes through geography lessons, food and entertainment on the Home Front.

A curious little film meant to introduce US Army personnel to life in the Untied Kingdom. It is presented by Burgess Meredith with appearances by Felix Aylmer, Bob Hope and others. IMDB rating 6.7. Directed by Anthony Asquith & Burgess Meredith (both uncredited). UK military release 1943. US release 1944 TV (see note). NOTE: Its first and probably only telecast was on 6/29/44 on NYC's WNBT.
