Fantastic Voyage in a Baloon
1862. Commodore Sir Francis and inventor Douglas initiated on behalf of the Royal Society of London Geography of a balloon ride under the command of Dr. Ferguson, who plans to cross Africa from east to west. But to accomplish this feat will have to overcome numerous adventures in which their lives are at serious risk.

En 1862, le docteur Samuel Fergusson, accompagné de son ami écossais Dick Kennedy et de son serviteur noir Joe Winston, entreprend pour le compte de la Société Royale Géographique de Londres la traversée du continent africain, alors en grande partie inexploré. C'est à bord d'un ballon gonflé à l'hydrogène, pour lequel il a en effet inventé un dispositif qui lui évitera de perdre du gaz pour régler son altitude, que les trois aventuriers vont tenter la traversée, d'est en ouest, de l'Afrique. Mais le voyage de découverte leur réserve de nombreuses surprises et aventures...Film mexicain réalisé par René Cardona Jr. en 1975.
