Carson is at the top of his game and the following morning (and sometimes beyond) talk from electronic media to the coffee is buzzing about last night's episode. I was only six years old but my ear was by my bedroom door to catch the monologue! To get some of the jokes, I needed to keep up on current events. Between that, my Father being literally a genius of history and politics (he earned his Bachelors and Masters degrees in U.S. History) that is how I got my passion for this! After the monologue (sometimes the show), I'd go DXing on the AM dial and/or my shortwave fall asleep listening to that! I loved the Winter, better reception and the heat of the radio under my covers would make me sleepy! I grew up on The Larry King radio show! The AM band died with his show! NO CALL SCREENING! Try mis-dis informing on his show! Carson too (or any of his guest hosts! I miss those days! And there are VERY fews of shows anywhere! Why? Anything would be fantastic! Remember, same shows have different edits from a few seconds to quite a big difference! Thank You!
